Lux-dv camera light including barndoors and bulbs in combination with converter Coco-2dvl (8,4V/12V) the perfect camera light for Mini-DV-, DV- and HDV-cameras.
The camera light Lux-DV “by bebob” in connection with the converter Coco-2DVL is an optimal solution for a mini-dv camcorder. Thanks to modern materials the weight of Lux-DV is less than 250g with the two barndoors, one dichroic filter and power cable.
The Lux-DV offer the equally practical details as the broadcasting camera light Lux.
With the new mounting clip it is possible to fix the light to all common Camera models like Sony, Panasonic, Canon und JVC.
For using the light with a battery belt, the Lux-dv is available with a 4pin-XLR cable. In this case you may use 10 W up to 50 W bulbs. When using Coco-dvl please use only 10W or 20W bulbs.
Converter 8.4V / 12V for HDV and MiniDV Cameras- Coco 2-dvl
Small, professional HD and MiniDV camcorders are being used increasingly for film and video production. However, camera professionals who work with HDV and MiniDV camcorders, expect the same high standards they are used to when working with shoulder cameras. They want to be able to use their standard camera accessories in order to achieve excellent photographic results. In reality, however, it has proven difficult to supply power to additional equipment for the camera in the field!
That’s where CocoII-dvl by bebob helps! Coco is an HDV/MiniDV camcorder adapter for supplying power to camera equipment practically and flexibly!
Like the well-known and successful Coco, Coco II-dvl, however, is a 8.4/12V voltage converter for attaching two batteries to power both the camera and accessories. The user-friendly and convenient converter is connected to the camera in place of the battery; the additional batteries are then mounted on the Coco II-dvl.
The two batteries supply current directly to the camera as well as provide both 8.4V and 12 V for additional accessories. The operating time during filming depends on the camera and the additional accessories.
Two hirose 4-pin outlets with 8.4V/12V and an AB switchable AB Twist D-Tap with dimmer are available.
In addition, it is possible to power the Coco II-dvl externally through the Power IN.
The voltage converter-electronics built into Coco II-dvl deliver power through a dimmable Twist D-Tap Outlet 12V to supply power to a camera light or an external LCD-Monitor. The matching plug is a regular D-Tap that can be mounted in both directions with the cable facing either up or down. The 12V outlet delivers an output of 35W which is adequate for an LCD-Monitor, Video transmitter or a camera light.
An LED on the user-friendly operating panel monitors battery status.
An adapter for a wireless microphone receiver is available as an accessory and mounted on the Coco casing. The wireless microphone receiver can be easily attached onto the casing.
