Bebob LUCO-DVL-PACK

The LUCO-DVL-PACK consists of the following products:
Coco-dvl + Lux-dv incl. barndoor and bulb
Bebob Coco I-dvl
Besides his well-known features the Coco I-dvl manages now the SoftStart® function and provides 8,4V at the output point.
Mini-DV-camcorder like Sony Z1/V1 or PD-170 offer nearly everything you want – but only nearly everything! If you want to fix a camera light, Audio Receiver or another accessory on to the camera this may be mechanically possible, but not electrically. You need an additional power source system – which is expensive, heavy and unpractical.
Coco I-dvl a voltage converter between battery on the one hand, camera and accessory on the other hand. The bebob converter Coco I-dvl will mounted in place of the battery – press and push it down. Then mount the battery on the same way to the designed holder at the converter.
The 7,2V voltage of the battery, also the Infolithium®-information will passed through the Coco to camera.
Another 8,4V Output (4pin Hirose connector) was designed to supply wireless mic receivers.
The built-in voltage converter supplies, via Twist D-Tag output ® 12 V power for a camera light or an external LCD monitor. The match connector is a very normal D-Tap and through the Twist-Technology it is possible to choose the cable guide you desire; while the polarity will be retained.
The Coco-dvl is designed to output a steady 15 W (20 W max. power) at 12V, this is enough for LCD monitor, Video transmitter or camera light with 10 W bulb. It is also possible to use a 20 W bulb as long as the camera light is dimmable or a disposal Softstart® electronics. When you switch on a 20W bulb there is a start-up peak which will overload the built-in fuse of most batteries. High-quality batteries incorporate an internal thermal safety circuit designed to stop current flow when out-rush current is exceeded to protect the battery from melting or exploding. The circuit can only then be rest by placing the battery on the charge for a rest cycle.
The running time of camera and light at the recording mode amounts with a 10W bulb to 135 min. And 75 min. with a 20 W bulb.
Another available accessory is a wireless Adaptorplate to fix tidy wireless mic receiver. The Adaptor must be screwed to the Coco.
Coco-dvl is designed to be used with the following cameras:
- Sony VX-2000, 2100
- Sony DSR-PD 150 und 170
- Sony HVR-FX1/7 und HDV-Z1E/V1E
