8,4" TFT monitor for the most demanding Broadcast applications. Very lightweight with low power consumption

This new range of TFT monitors in 8,4" (2 units in 19" rack) are high quality broadcast product, using the ultimate technology. They are designed for the most demanding Broadcast applications. They are lightweight and have a very low power consumption, making it ideal for compact spaces such as Studios, OB vans and control rooms, specially in those where space and power consumption is a key factor.

The 8,4" TFT monitor (1024 × 768 pixels) is high resolution, brightness and full colour. It has an excellent vision angle, giving the best all-round image. The standard input is analog RGB for a connection to a PC (15 pins subD connector).

The monitor is controlled by a microprocessor, allowing the easy use of the keyboard located in the front panel. All functions are quickly accessible through the on screen menu system (OSD).

The available options are two PAL/NTSC/SECAM inputs according to specifications issued by ITU-R BT.470 / SMPTE 170M and two SDI inputs (D1) ITU-R BT.601, with passive loop-through. The SDI module allows the user to extract the embedded audio and output it in Analogue or AES EBU Digital form.

The 8.4" TFT monitor can be also powered by batteries.

The LM5009 can be rack mounted in a 19" standard rack or can also be placed on a desktop. Desktop versions are fitted with a tilting front panel to provide the best vision angle.

On the front panel there is a bright red LED for the »On-Air« Tally Light, which can be activated in 3 ways.

The external power supply is connected by means of a threaded connector in the rear panel which prevents accidental disconnection in a dynamic environment. This high quality broadcast monitor has a response time of 10 ms. This technical feature is specially important in pictures with movement or the fast cameras movement, in order to avoid »Delay in the Picture«. The LM5009 is provided with facilities for 4:3 and 16:9 and can be controlled remotely.
